The first step toward any moral-spiritual change in our nation, must be prayer. Every step we can take to bring national renewal, including the persuasiveness of the gospel message itself, is an outward-inward process. Only by prayer, does the Holy Spirit begin on the inside of leader or a common citizen. Nations change one person at a time, from the inside out.
Do the one thing that is necessary for all the other things we are called to do to effectively work - join others in prayer. God honors passionate, faith-filled, Scriptural prayers after you die. Prayer is timeless. Prayer is the only means by which you can penetrate closed doors, reach into hard hearts and travel a state - all on your knees in your own closet. Prayer defies the laws of physics. As voices of prayer rise across the state and enter heaven's courtroom, the King of the earth, the Creator and Lord of glory is moved by our invitations to walk through our cities and bring the renewal that He alone can bring.
